Current Favorite Browser Games - updated for 2025

MMORPG/RPG Games:

BrowserQuests

BrowserQuests is a single-player RPG, very similar to Dungeon & Dragons. It even has dungeon master commentary on your choices. This is my favorite single player browser game yet. I recommend everyone who likes Dungeons & Dragons play it. There is also an option to play it as a visual novel if you aren't interested in manually doing the combat.

Dragons of the Void

Dragons of the Void reminds me of Castle Age. There are interesting quests to do and you can join monster hunts with other players and there are also guild monster hunts. You can make and equip an avatar.

Mythic Reign

I'm really enjoying this text based PVP game. There are a lot of things to do (mining/quests/fighting etc.) and there are a lot of options for character race. Seductive Paradise

Text based adult-themed MMORPG. This is a new game and new features are being added all the time. Current features include player housing/guilds/mining/searching/quests/marriage/seasonal events and more. The developer is very active and responsive and the community is nice.

Original Shadows 

Enjoying the game so far. The community seems nice. You can choose between being a vampire, werewolf, angel and more. Referral link (or you can click normal link above).

Semi-AFK/Idle Games:

Dragonrip

I'm really enjoying this one. This game is similar to Runescape in that there are a lot of skills you can train. There are multiple group events daily.

Lyrania

Lyrania is semi-AFK and you can fight monsters (solo, guild and area bosses) and craft. I'm enjoying it so far.

Farm RPG

I play Farm RPG on mobile so I didn't think of adding it to this list until now, but I've been playing for over a year. It's a fun game and the quests are interesting. You can farm, craft, explore and fish.

Drakor 

Really enjoying this text based RPG. There is combat, lots of crafting and resource gathering skills, you can have pets and mounts, guilds. There are a lot of afk activities. Basically everything except combat is doable afk. The combat system is pretty interesting. Referral link (or you can click normal link above).

Pet/Breeding Games:

Tattered World

Tattered World is an awesome game :) There are great character customization options, fun mini games to play where you can earn shards to buy stuff with in game, cool pets. So many fashion choices. RuneTails 

RuneTails is a very cute new pet game available on browser and mobile. I chose a flyar for my first pet. There are lots of things to do and more features on the way. Your pets can fight world bosses with other players pets. You can play mini-games to earn currency to buy more pets and when you are new you can get free food every day for your pets at the Soup Kitchen.

Flight Rising

Flight Rising is a dragon breeding game. There are lots of things to do; you can even play Mahjong & some other mini games for coins to spend in-game. There is combat. You join a guild by choosing your element- mine is water.

Lioden

Lion breeding game, pretty cute so far, lots of stuff to do (hunt/explore/etc), mini-games. Automatically goes on vacation mode if you can’t make it on so your lions don’t starve or anything. There are different events every month so it stays interesting.

Obviously, I can't keep up with all these games, but these are all ones I've played quite a bit and found to be good. I will be adding more as time allows.
